What happens when you commit to showing up every single day to talk about one of the fastest-moving, most complex topics of our time?
You change.
Your audience changes.
And maybe, just maybe, you help shape the conversation.
This is what I’ve learned from recording 100 episodes of the AI Six podcast. And today, I’m sharing the five biggest lessons that came from doing it.
If you’ve been here since the beginning, or even if you’ve just popped in today, thank you. AI Six has become one of my favourite things to create. It’s kept me sharp, connected, and most importantly, curious.
In this episode, I’m reflecting on what I’ve learned from showing up almost every day to talk about AI. Some of these lessons are about content. Some are about mindset. All of them are real.
Lesson 1: Repetition Builds Authority
When I first decided to do this podcast daily, I wondered if I could keep it up. What would I even say? Would anyone care?
But what I found is that repetition, intentional, valuable repetition, builds authority. Not because I had all the answers, but because I showed up.
In a world where AI changes by the week, being a consistent voice helps people trust you. And trust builds credibility faster than any viral trend.
Lesson 2: Learning Out Loud is a Superpower
I didn’t wait until I had all the answers before I started this podcast. I just started sharing what I was discovering, testing, loving, or sometimes confused by.
And that openness has been powerful. I’ve built relationships, deepened my knowledge, and created a rhythm of daily discovery. It has reminded me that the best teachers are also active students.
When you learn out loud, you bring people along for the ride. And that creates a connection.
Lesson 3: Small Habits Compound
Six minutes a day doesn’t sound like much. But it adds up. 100 episodes later, I’ve built a body of work I’m proud of, one that reflects how I think, what I value, and how I want to lead in this AI space.
That’s the thing about habits. They don’t always feel big in the moment, but over time? They become your track record.
Lesson 4: Audience Connection Beats Algorithm Chasing
This podcast is niche. It’s not designed to go viral. It’s not chasing trends or downloads. It’s designed to help you, marketers, communicators, and leaders understand and apply AI in your world.
The DMs I get, the people who say “Joanne, I listen on my walk,” or “I shared your episode with my team”—that is success to me. Not the algorithm. Not the vanity metrics.
When you make something for the right people, it finds its place.
Lesson 5: AI Moves Fast, But So Can We
One of the main reasons I started AI Six was because I felt an obligation to stay ahead—not just for myself, but for my clients, my students, my audience.
And honestly? This podcast keeps me accountable. I’m learning, reading, testing, and talking about AI every day. And that daily rhythm helps me keep pace with the speed of change.
Yes, AI is fast. But we’re not standing still. We’re adapting, applying, and evolving, one episode at a time.
So there you have it – five things I’ve learned from talking AI every day:
Repetition builds authority
Learning out loud is a superpower
Small habits compound
Audience connection > algorithms
And AI might move fast, but so can we.
And before you go—don’t forget, we’re running the AI Six 100-Episode Giveaway!
