Another day, another AI tool. Say hello to Manus AI! (Shoutout to all the Irish Manus’ out there who now have an AI Agent named after them!)
Hello and welcome to The AI Six Podcast – in just six minutes, I bring you the insights, updates, and ideas that matter most if you’re a marketer embracing the AI age.
Manus AI is an autonomous AI agent developed by the Chinese startup Monica. Launched in March 2025, it is designed to bridge the gap between human intent and execution by independently planning, executing, and delivering results for various tasks.
It is my friends, a step above ChatGPT who completes one task at a time. Manus, meanwhile is a super-duper multi-tasker!
It is currently only available to users by invite only.
However, let’s hear from Sabrina Ramonov who shares on her TikTok account how she got access in 48 hours!
@sabrina_ramonov How I got access to China’s Manus AI in 48 hours, shoutout to @Teacher Mary | AI Education who sent me the script that also worked for her 😂😂 🔗 Manus.im/invitation – how do I get access to Manus AI? – step-by-step tutorial how to get invitation to use Manus AI, the new Chinese AI agent? – how do I get an invite to use Manus AI? #man#manus #aii#chinab#sabrinaramonova#aiagenta#aiagents#greenscreen

Manus AI Features
Multi-Agent System:
- Manus uses “multi-agent architecture,” meaning it’s composed of various specialised sub-agents that work together to complete tasks.
- These sub-agents handle different aspects of a task, such as planning, knowledge retrieval, and code generation.
Emphasis on Action:
- Unlike many AI tools that focus on generating text or responses, Manus is designed to take action.
- It can interact with online environments, navigate websites, and utilize various tools to achieve its goals.
Transparency and Replayability:
- Manus features a “Manus’s computer” side panel that displays the steps it takes to complete a task, providing transparency into its processes.
- It also offers the ability to replay past sessions, allowing users to review how it tackled specific projects.
Advanced Capabilities:
- Manus has shown very high scores on the GAIA benchmark, which is a test that rates how well an AI can solve real world problems.
- It is designed to be an AI that can work without constant user input.
MIT Tests Manus AI
Researchers at MIT put Manus AI to the test. An article by Caiwei Chen in the MIT Technology Review summaries the three tests given to Manus AI to complete. All in all, the review is that this model can multi-task but crashes when it’s tired and needs improvements to make it a competitor in the marketplace. However, this author says it is an AI Agent worthy of using daily.
Here’s a sample task I’d give Manus AI (but I don’t yet have access)
Let’s see if he’s the multitasking civil servant whisperer he claims to be.
Manus AI Task – Advanced Public Sector Challenge
“Manus, can you:
- Summarise the new government housing policy in plain English,
- Translate that summary into Irish,
- Compare this new policy with the previous one – what’s changed, what’s improved, and what’s missing?
- Then suggest three social media messages to explain the update to the Irish public, one each for Instagram, X, and TikTok?”
