These AI elements are designed to automate and dramatically improve audio enhancement, cleanup, and mixing tasks.

Adobe has added several AI-powered features to make audio editing faster and easier, even if you’re not an expert.
These tools are found in the Essential Sound panel and can dramatically improve how your audio sounds with just a few clicks.
Here’s what they do:
Enhance Speech
This tool uses AI to clean up dialogue so it sounds like it was recorded in a professional studio.
It removes background noise, echo, and poor room acoustics—all in one click. It was originally part of Adobe Podcast, but now it’s built into Premiere Pro.
Auto Ducking
This automatically lowers the volume of background music or ambient sound when someone is speaking.
It saves you from having to manually adjust audio levels and makes speech easier to hear.
Remix Music
This feature uses AI to shorten or lengthen music tracks to match your video.
It keeps the music flowing naturally, without the awkward cuts you’d get from editing by hand.
Automatic Tagging
Adobe’s AI can now recognise what type of sound a clip is—like dialogue, music, sound effects, or background noise, and tag it automatically.
This makes it easier to apply the right tools for each type of audio. (This is still in beta in some versions.)
AI Noise Reduction
Beyond Enhance Speech, there are AI tools for reducing background noise and echo in all kinds of audio, especially dialogue.
They’re useful even when the original recording quality is poor.
These tools simplify what used to be complex, manual audio tasks.
They’re designed for beginners and professionals alike, helping anyone achieve polished, high-quality sound without hours of editing.
Adobe Audiograms – convert your audio into visually appealing audiograms for social media, they act as great episode teasers.
Note: Some features, like Enhance Speech, are only available in the newest or beta versions of Premiere Pro.
The quality of the results may also vary depending on the original audio and which version of the software you’re using.
