Clare O'Donoghue Velikić
Government & Politics Client Partner, Facebook

Clare is the Government & Politics Client Partner for northern Europe at Facebook, working with public sector marketers to help maximise the impact of their activity across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and now WhatsApp. She has been at Facebook more than eight years, and has helped steer government clients through the transition to mobile, thinking visually first, developing marketing funnels for the digital landscape, and incorporating conversations into the public social discourse.

 

She previously worked at Google, where she founded the Google Grants programme for EMEA, and at the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, working on democratisation and good governance initiatives with local municipal leaders.  She holds a BA in Communications from DCU, and an MA in International Politics and Security from the University of Bradford, and is also a proud mammy of two, living in Dublin 7.
